As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be instrumental in shaping our cutting-edge data platform. Your role involves developing and maintaining data pipelines, optimizing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive impactful solutions. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest new data sources and support both external and internal users. Create tools for automated data quality monitoring, scheduling, testing, and distribution. Collaborate with data science and product management teams to design and operationalize new data products. Improve existing data pipelines and develop new ones as needed. Solve complex problems with simple, efficient solutions focusing on reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Develop processes for data transformation, metadata management, and workload optimization. Conduct root cause analysis and audit internal and external data processes.
MUST HAVE
5+ years of experience in Dimensional Data Warehousing/Data Modeling and Big Data. Strong SQL skills and experience with AWS infrastructure. Proven track record with Snowflake, Airflow, and Python for data processing and automation. Familiarity with DBT (Data Build Tool) and ETL/ELT tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Passion for data and continuous learning. Preferred Qualifications:
NICE HAVE
Experience with Redshift, Snowflake, or other MPP databases. Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools like Informatica, IBM DataStage, or SaaS ETL tools. Experience with Tableau or other reporting tools.
